Job Opportunities

Our engineers work as a team in a hands-on environment and closely monitor each stage of the development of our electromechanical products and systems.

Our staff of mechanical, electrical, electronic and manufacturing engineers have the breadth of knowledge and experience to understand our customers' overall requirements. We are the right size to provide personal attention, and you benefit from hands-on experience.

Currently we have the following positions available:

Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer
This senior engineer will have a background in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering, a knowledge of magnetics and broad experience in the design and manufacture of servomotors and servo actuators for aerospace and industry. The person will have a senior position in our engineering team. More importantly, the person will be looking to join a successful and growing company with excellent morale and exceptional opportunities for the future.

A Bachelor's degree or more in engineering is required, as is a solid background in intricate mechanical design and knowledge of the latest engineering and business software. A candidate with strong mechanical aptitude is desired; a history of mechanical-related interests or accomplishments is a plus.

Electrical Engineer/Magnetics Designer
We are seeking an electrical/electronic engineer with a working knowledge of magnetics and power components to design, analyze and test electric motors and other servo-components for aerospace and industry. Job activities will include some or all of:
  • Designing, analyzing and testing brushless DC motors, actuators and servo-components
  • Utilizing our proprietary motor optimization and magnetic design software packages
  • Conducting simulation analysis utilizing PSPICE and MATLAB
  • Performing failure analysis, MTBF and FMEA for new and existing designs
  • Performing hardware & software integration and debugging
  • Troubleshooting initial prototypes to verify performance
  • Diagnosing problems and recommending alternative solutions
  • Creating and presenting technical reviews
  • Traveling to customers for technical presentations and on-site support
  • Performing other related assigned duties

An undergraduate or graduate technical degree and at least three years’ working experience in an applicable engineering or science field is required, as is familiarity with magnetics and motor drives, a demonstrated ability to analyze and articulate technical problems, good communications and problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment.

Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a mechanical engineer with a career interest in designing and analyzing electromechanical components and subsystems for aerospace and industry. After several years of on-the-job training, job activities will include some or all of:
  • Performing mechanical design and integration of electromechanical components and subsystems; preparing detail and assembly drawings with emphasis on design for manufacturing, cost, ANSI standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing;
  • Conducting mechanical hardware design, development, integration/implementation and analysis in all phases of design, development and production;
  • Troubleshooting initial prototypes to verify performance;
  • Diagnosing problems and recommending alternative solutions; providing technical expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering problems;
  • Creating and presenting high-level managerial and detailed specific technical reviews;
  • Traveling to customers for technical presentations and on-site support;
  • Performing other related assigned duties.
